Madinah airport pickup when you land for Umrah
Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Airport is the short airport in an Umrah trip, which is exactly why people get casual about it. Hotels near the Prophet’s Mosque are often 20 to 35 minutes away. The mistake is assuming any car outside will know your hotel gate, or that someone is definitely waiting. If the group is tired, elderly, or travelling with parents, a named driver is the difference between a short ride and a negotiation in the parking lane.
Send the flight number. We meet after baggage. If immigration is slow, message WhatsApp. The driver does not leave because the board slipped by twenty minutes.

That is the Madinah-specific note. Shopping accumulates. If the boot was already full on the way up from Makkah, do not book a sedan for the airport leg out of habit. Camry and Sonata are right for up to four people with normal luggage. Staria or Suburban for a family. Starex or HiAce when the group, or the bags, outgrow a seven-seater. Hotel, not “central Madinah”
Drop-off is the hotel name. If the hotel has more than one entrance, write the one they gave you, or “main reception”. Drivers know the central area. They should not have to tour it with you already in the car, five minutes from the mosque and somehow still lost.
A lot of guests use this at the end, not the start: Madinah hotel to the airport for the flight home. Book that as its own time. For an international departure we usually suggest leaving the hotel three hours before the flight, earlier if you are a large group or the hotel is slow with luggage. That is our advice, not an airport rule.
Coming from Makkah the same day and then flying is where people get hurt. Tell us both times. Stacking a five-hour road on a tight flight is how counters get missed. We would rather move the Makkah departure earlier than wave you into a sprint at Madinah airport.

Is the airport close enough to take any taxi?
The distance is short. The problem is the last five minutes and a driver who does not have your hotel. If you want the lobby, book the lobby.
Can you meet elderly parents if I am already at the hotel?
Yes. The name on the board should be the name of the person landing, and the phone we call should be one they will answer, or yours if you want the updates.
Do you only do Umrah pickups?
No. The same car does business arrivals and family visits. Umrah is simply the reason most of these bookings exist.
